Spencer is a Fort Worth based artist with roots in the great tradition of songwriters who got their start playing Monday nights at the historic Blue Light Live in Lubbock, Texas.

His influences include legendary Texas troubadours like Jerry Jeff Walker, Robert Earl Keen, and Guy Clark as well as older contemporaries like William Clark Green, John Baumann, and Evan Felker.
